The Blast Shield is a shield for the Tank in Strike Force Heroes. While equipped, you shoot with your secondary weapon like all other shields. To use a shield well, it is recommended to have a good secondary.
Often unnoticed by players, this shield reduces explosive damage even when not blocking with it, and it actually reduces explosive damage by 70% rather than 30% due to a programming error; this essentially shuts down any Commando wielding an explosive weapon.
