The Socom, or the Heckler & Koch Mark 23 Mod 0 (USSOCOM) is a Pistol available to all classes as a secondary weapon. It is unlocked at Rank 18 and costs $1,450 to use.


The Socom is a secondary weapon. It has decent damage and is a good pistol for earlier levels. It is also used by the Commando of the Globex at the beginning of the level. It's statistically very similar to the USP, P99 and Beretta and the M1911, the only difference is damage. It, like the USP, Beretta, M1911 and P99 has a good accuracy and can easily take out enemies from a range.


The best thing to do for the assassin would be shoot the enemy with your sniper rifle, which should mostly kill them. Then kill them the rest of the way with your pistol, reload both guns and repeat. For the rest of the classes use it when you run out of ammo, or just when you feel like it.



  • It is a HK Mk23 Mod 0, which is a modified HK USP45 for Navy Seal by United States Special Operations Command(USSOCOM).
  • It`s really cool to run around with this gun with Vital Sight equipped to your Assassin , as the Socom has a USSOCOM tactical flashlight and laser which can`t be turned on in the game. 
  • The pistol itself is a reference to the Metal Gear Solid series, where the Socom is the signature weapon of the titular protagonist, Solid Snake.
